The 17-day diet promises quick results: decrease from 4.5 to 5.5 kg in 17 days. Starving yourself. Without plateau phase, i.e. it continues to decline. And it is promised even more: The 17-Day Diet is possible to live life change, with which you can keep the new found ideal weight also. This all sounds too good to be true. The rules seem pretty simple: Abundant proteins (chicken, fish or lean meat), lots of vegetables, no sugar-rich fruits, with carbohydrates sparingly, the right fat use (polyunsaturated, eg olive oil, linseed oil) and drink plenty of water (no "negative "Water, like diet soda or energy drinks). Finally promises Dr. Mike Moreno, author of the 17-day diet, even fun - we were skeptical ...

The sequence

There are in the 17-day diet four phases, each lasting 17 days and pass each other cyclically. Phase 1 ("kindling"): In this phase, through better digestion and fat burning angekurbelte rapidly reduced weight. In phase 2 ("Activate") is the daily changing supply of calories (again, whole grains, legumes) reprograms the metabolism. In phase 3 ("balancing"), healthy eating habits are established and certain foods (bread and pasta) to be reintroduced. In Phase 4 ("arrival"), is held by a healthy diet, the target weight.

The result

The 17-day diet delivers what it promises. It was easy to remove. Already in the first week was the local scale at two pounds less. After 14 days, there were a total of four kilograms. After another three days, finally again one kilogram was tumbled, so actually five kilograms lighter in 17 days. After the first three days without carbohydrates, in which we were a little bit nervous, the whole thing has actually been fun. We will definitely continue with the 17 day diet and are very excited to second phase
